In 2025 we partnered with the new owners of The Ed Castle Hotel to overhaul the digital presence of Adelaide’s oldest pub.

Steeped in history but entering a loud new chapter under fresh ownership, we needed to bridge the gap between the venue's historic bones and its gritty, live-music future.

Beyond the gritty aesthetic, the site had to be easy to manage ongoing. With a rotating roster of live music and weekly specials that change at a moment's notice, the backend needed to be easy to use. We built a custom Squarespace pop-up gig guide that gives viewers a glance of all upcoming shows quickly, and allows owners total control to update their gig guides and kitchen promos on the fly, without breaking the design.

The result is a digital experience that feels grungy, gritty, fun, and above all, authentic. Book in for a pint and a show before and support local pubs!
